WHAT IS ZODURA

Zodura was born from the journey of two international families — the Zohorés and the Durans — navigating life, parenting, and travel across continents. With little ones in tow, we quickly realized that most short-term rentals weren’t designed with real family needs in mind.

We dreamed of something different:

A stay that offered ease, comfort, and connection — without sacrificing adventure or culture.

So we created Zodura:

A collection of family-first stays where parents can relax, kids are welcomed, and each space is thoughtfully designed to feel like home.

We’re starting in the USA and Mexico — but this is just the beginning.

Because we believe the best kind of travel is when families grow together, wherever they go.

MEET THE FOUNDERS

ZoDura was created by two multicultural families — the Zohorés and the Durans — who share a passion for meaningful travel, family connection, and creating spaces that feel like home. Together, they’re building more than a short-term rental brand — they’re building a movement grounded in wellness, ease, and cultural exploration.

The Zohoré family is a multicultural, multilingual crew of four with roots in the U.S. and Côte d’Ivoire, currently living life abroad in Argentina. As a family shaped by multiple cultures, languages, and continents, Sara and Bern believe that travel isn’t just about where you go — it’s about how deeply you connect once you're there.

Sara is an athletic director at an international school and passionate about natural wellness solutions that support families on the move. Bern is a basketball coach and fitness enthusiast who brings energy, movement, and fun to everything he does. Together, they’re building Zodura to reflect the life they live — rooted in family, growth, and authentic cultural connection.

The Duran family is a multicultural, multilingual crew of five with roots in Venezuela and the United States. Currently living in Argentina, they are raising and homeschooling their three young children with a focus on service, curiosity, and global awareness.

With a heart for meaningful connection and a passion for thoughtful travel, Nathan and Christina bring intentionality, creativity, and cultural depth to the Zodura vision. Their lifestyle reflects a commitment to slow, purpose-driven exploration — values that shape every Zodura stay they help create.
